Try this delicious recipe to help you have that amorous feeling.  In the yogic tradition, eggplant is the sexiest food for women.
Also, try these pakoras the week preceding your period to support a more comfortable cycle.

Mix the besan with spices in a bowl.  Add the onion juice and milk and mix until smooth.  Add hot water if needed, to make a nice rich batter. 
Any lumps should be squeezed out through your fingers or broken with a fork.  Dip the eggplant (slice almost 1/2" thick in circles) in the batter. 
Fry in hot oil until browned and drain on paper toweling.
